CURRENT GATHERINGS, ACTIONS AND PROTESTS

  • GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON: NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION

    JULY 17th, 2025 - Downtown Sonoma Plaza
    5:00 - 7:00 pm

On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing,  actions across the country are happening to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.

From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, the Trump administration is launching a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights. But we know the truth: in America, the power lies with the people, and we’re rising UP to prove it.

Join us for a national day of nonviolent action as we rally, march to demand that Congress fight back and protect our Constitutional rights and freedoms. This is a moment of moral clarity and collective power.

We march in peace. We act in power.

    Good Trouble Lives On.

We will Rally at the Horseshoe at Sonoma Plaza in Sonoma Valley, 453 1st street East,  and then march down Broadway staying on sidewalks and cover as much of the sidewalks as possible.

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
